In this special anniversary year for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal here in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia it is good to gather under the theme, "Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus" (Heb. 12:2) As faith-filled followers of Jesus Christ we know we can do nothing without keeping our eyes and hearts focused on Jesus Christ.  We gather on the eve of the holiest week of the Christian calendar to remeber all that Christ has done for us in being obedient to the will of His heavenly Father.  Our lives are busy and burdened in many ways, the Church suffers in so many ways as well but our true  hope and that which will keep us running the race is our faith, trust and belief in Jeus Christ.  Come Holy Spirit and fill us with the grace and power to keep our eyes fixed on ChrIst!
